China, S. Korea recognize environmental labels

China and S. Korea signed an agreement on mutual recognition of
environmental labels in Beijing on March 1. Chen Yanping (first on the
right), president of the China ZhongHuan United Authentication Centre Co.
Ltd., Beijing and Sang Eun Lee (first on the left), president of the
Korea Environmental Labeling Association signed the agreement. This is
the second agreement on recognition that China has entered with
international environmental labeling organizations, following the
Sino-Australian agreement of January, 2005.
